Head of State: The working class is fundamental to productive recovery

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, through a telephone contact, described the work of the working class as fundamental in the country's economic recovery.

“The working class is fundamental to the productive and oil recovery, to the recovery of 2,500 basic companies. The working class has been vital in its role in and for itself,” said the Head of State during a conversation with workers in Guiana, during the Proclamation of the Working Class of Guiana in Support of the President.

In this regard, he stressed that despite unilateral coercive measures, it has been possible to resist in a victorious manner. “They couldn't beat us and they'll never be able to handle Venezuela, they'll never be able to handle a working-class president because I have the support of the workers,” he said.

In addition, he congratulated the workers for their firm conviction in defense of the Homeland.
