“Let no one in the world come to ask Venezuela for what they don't do in their countries, in Venezuela we will do what we have to do and the Law, the institutions, the will of the People, national sovereignty will triumph, that no one messes with Venezuela, that no one interferes in our affairs, this is an independent country and we don't want colonialist relations with anyone, whatever you call it, Venezuela is respected and the way to make the country respect is with your vote.”

This was emphasized this Saturday by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, from the Miraflores Palace where he held a videoconference with governors, mayors and the General Staff, to fine-tune the final details for this Sunday's election day, which he said “will be a monumental party of peace and sovereign decision”.

After highlighting the effectiveness of intelligence and counterintelligence efforts to defeat the violent plans of opposition extremism, the National President pointed out to the Venezuelan people that “it is now in your hands that this country be respected and that it remains in peace.”

“I know that peace will reign; tomorrow, the day after tomorrow and the days, months and years to come, the miraculous and blessed times have arrived, what the prophecy does is come true,” he said.
