Head of State to the Colombian People: We must consolidate the union so that no one dares to touch the sovereignty of our countries

The Head of State, Nicolás Maduro Moros, called on the People of Colombia to consolidate the perfect union with Venezuela so that no one dares to touch the sovereignty of our countries and to obey Bolívar's rule of permanent union and shared happiness.”

In that sense, he expressed “my call today, 200 years after the approval of the founding fundamental law of Colombia the great one; 206 years after the founding of this great idea and this great nation that declared itself a republic in arms and gave complete freedom to South America, I make my call ratified with the deep love of a great Colombian who I feel the ordinary people of Colombia to their social movements, political and military forces, to unity”.

He added that “that is our call today, on a wonderful day in which Venezuela experienced a special and brilliant moment when our people took to the streets to defend our fundamental rights to our land and minerals.”

He added that “Venezuela has achieved the level of union that it had never achieved and that national union has only one objective: to ensure respect for international law, national sovereignty, to respect the right to peace and to life.”
