Head of State: Today's Herod will not be able to fight Venezuela

This Sunday, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, recalled the Day of the Holy Innocents, celebrated on December 28, with a hopeful message of peace for the Venezuelan people through his Telegram channel.

“Just as Herod failed before our Lord Jesus Christ, today he will not prevail against Venezuela either. We remain absolutely hopeful that every day will be better!” , said the head of state through audiovisual material published on his channel.

In the message, he added that “if Herod couldn't yesterday, today's Herod will not be able to fight Venezuela.” He added that the most important thing is that there is hope that the country will be better every day that passes.

In this regard, the president urged the Venezuelan people to make this 28th a day to invoke the spirit of David, of Moses and, in that line of command, “to invoke the greatest of all great, our Lord Jesus”.
