Head of State urged new governors to purge administrative structures before 2026

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, called on the country's governors for the profound renewal of administrative structures at the regional and municipal levels of the country.

The National President urged the governors and governors to carry out, before January 2026, a total cleansing of the bureaucratic methods and schemes that have given rise to corrupt practices in governorates and mayors, “they must be turned around as an average,” he said.

He entrusted the task to the general secretary of the PSUV, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, and to the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, who will be responsible for coordinating, supervising and ensuring compliance with the instruction.
