The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, considered it essential to strengthen Venezuela and preserve values, since “our culture is the best vaccine for deculturation, drugs, violence and capitalist evil.”

“A boy, a girl, a young person who grows up in the exercise and practice of our identity, culture and values, sure, sure that he will be an adult useful to his country, honest, good, transparent,” he said.

He stressed that “the creative powers of the People are the greatest thing that Venezuela has, our identity, that we have to lift it up, make it visible, strengthen it, support it, disseminate it, teach it in schools, high schools, universities, Community Councils, courts, in the territory.”

For this purpose, he considered it necessary to open at least one House of Culture, in each municipality, that would be the meeting place for all cultivators, “and where possible, on the ground, to build an acoustic shell”.

This was stated in the state of Aragua, where he inaugurated the first “Alsacia Álvarez” House of Culture, part of the Great Viva Venezuela Mission.

In that regard, he announced that the José Félix Ribas Theater and the construction of the La Victoria acoustic shell will be fully restored.
