Head of State: Venezuela has a scientific hotbed of 757,000 children and young people

President Nicolás Maduro, during the presentation of the XX National Awards for Science, Technology and Innovation Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán, highlighted the formation of the national scientific hotbed of more than 750,000 young people, boys and girls who represent the future of the Homeland and the independence of the sector.

“In 2023, it reached 26,000 and in 2024, starting, we reached 256,000 and in 2025 there are 45 days left until the end of this year we already have 757,000 boys, girls and young people in the scientific hotbed of the Great Science Mission Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán,” stressed the National President.

He added that the challenge of forming this “scientific hotbed” has made it possible to highlight the advances of the Venezuelan scientific community and are a guarantee of the independence of science in the country in the present and future.

“We are very clear about the short and long cycles of planting values, morals and knowledge to the new generations of the Homeland and Venezuela is moving forward and will have great news for the future,” he said.
