Head of State: Venezuela supports Pope Francis' call for peace in Palestine and Ukraine

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during the 37th edition of the Con Maduro+ program, reiterated his condemnation of the genocide carried out by the Zionist government of Israel against the Palestinian people, which is being carried out with the consent of the main Western powers.

“This has never been seen, that they bomb religious centers, people who or are going to pray, only comparable to the persecution and attempted extermination of the Jewish people in Europe during the government of Adolfo Hitler just because of their religious beliefs, but the Jewish holocaust has become the Palestinian holocaust of Nethanyau,” he said from the city of Maturín, in the state of Monagas.

“We accompany them with heart and prayer to the Muslim people, suffering for the sacrifice, the genocide, the extermination of the Palestinian people, may the prayers of the Muslim people in Ramadan serve to achieve peace and respect for the right of the Palestinian people to their land, to their life, to their family,” he said.

It also added to the call made by Pope Francis I for peace and justice, not only in Palestine, but in Ukraine, where the time has come to negotiate peace.
