Head of State: Warao people beat the rain to support Governor Loa Tamaronis

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during the inauguration of the governor of the Delta Amacuro state, Los Tamaronis, highlighted the indomitable strength of the people of this entity who, during the elections, overcame natural adversity to fulfill their right to vote.

“I congratulate the people of the Delta, the Warao People, who overcame the rain and the storm with their unwavering strength on Sunday, May 27,” said the Head of State during his participation in the swearing in of Loa Tamaronis as governor of the country's northeastern entity.

He added that this town has gone down in history one of the chapters we are writing with heroism, commitment and strength.
