Head of State: We are facing, containing and pulverizing a coup d'etat (+TikTok and Instagram)

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced this Sunday the execution of new formulas to guarantee the protection of the people in every area of the national territory, in the midst of attempts at fascist violence promoted by the extreme right.

“So that our People, from the Peace Quadrants, have a capacity to react to the criminals and criminals of fascism, of a higher level, of greater speed, of greater depth. It is a commitment that I have made with people in the streets, in the immense popular mobilizations that took place yesterday, I made a commitment to the People, to protect our people on the street, in the community, in the neighborhood, in urban planning,” he said.

During the ceremony for the celebration of the 87th anniversary of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), the Head of State stated that “we are facing, defeating, containing and pulverizing a coup d'etat in Venezuela, which is the first cyber-fascist-criminal coup d'etat, which is being tried precisely against Venezuela.”

He indicated that no one should be deceived because it is a coup d'etat. “They used (the extreme right) the electoral process to set up the 'commandos', to install hate through TikTok and Instagram. I accuse Instagram of its responsibility in installing hate to divide Venezuelans, to seek a massacre and a division of Venezuela to bring fascism to Venezuela,” he criticized.

The President reiterated that Venezuela has a Constitution and institutions, and “it will not be four declarations of the U.S. government that can establish the institutional life of Venezuela (...) We are never going to be guided by international blackmail, in Venezuela what needs to be done is done according to the country's needs and in the opinion of Venezuelans,” he said.

“They have infected important sectors of hate, and the hate they have infected through social networks, TikTok and Instagram, they do so in a shameless way. In no country, on TikTok in Europe or Instagram in Europe, do they allow armed assaults by criminals against mayors, governorates, hospitals, schools, metro train stations, police modules, National Guard modules to be transmitted,” he repudiated
