On the night of this Friday, August 16, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured that “we are in a fight as humanity.”

This was stated at a meeting with Christian leaders in the framework of a prayer for peace, where he added that “it is important that we keep in communication with God through prayer, fighting for our country today more than ever in a long time, in a fight for values and the future. If anti-values prevail and all the falsehood that has been built in society we will not know what will happen. We have to fight to impose the values of God”.

He took the opportunity to urge Christian churches to continue strengthening educational processes between boys and girls to rescue and maintain values.

“Don't give up, don't get tired, don't be overwhelmed by social networks, let's fight as a country, as a nation, where the Christian church, and also my Catholic brothers, make an effort for national values and to educate boys and girls,” he urged.
