The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, ratified his government's willingness to seal oil and gas agreements with countries that require them, within the framework of mutual respect.

“We are ready and willing to negotiate with whatever we have to negotiate for sovereign agreements and the development of the oil and gas resources that are there in the sea on Earth,” said the Head of State from the Miraflores Palace, after the signing of a series of energy agreements between Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago.

Addressing all the investors in the world, he emphasized that Venezuelans, specifically the Bolivarian Government, “are people of our word, we are one-sided people, we play with our cards on the table (...) and I am the only one who guarantees the legal security, stability and tranquility of this country for all the oil and gas projects that you want to develop,” he emphasized.

He reiterated that whoever wants to “come and invest, come on time (...) a shower of investors in oil, gas and petrochemistry is coming to Venezuela, because people see that Venezuela is opening its floodgates and we were able to activate a new economy with our own efforts.”
