The Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, said that “violence, confrontation and exclusion must be repudiated by the people.”

At the inauguration of Expo Metal, Iron, Steel and Aluminum 2024, he commented that we must say “no to violence and hate, no to division and negative polarization; the People must answer: I am opposed!”

He urged the population to say no to the right, in the face of their plans of violence.

“Tell him - to the right - don't take us back to scenes of hate, guarimba, intolerance and national self-destruction (...) Negatively polarized. The path must be peace, understanding, dialogue and respect between everyone and that the opinion of the humblest of workers is worth as much as that of the most powerful and billionaire of businessmen and that we can unite national opinion in a single vision of the future,” he said.
