The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, at the Meeting with Members of the Brazilian Landless Rural Workers Movement, assured that Venezuela is “moving from the countryside to the city” and highlighted the fundamental role of the plan of the 7 Transformations in this progress.

In this sense, he explained that with new ideas, new positions, new experiences that awaken new forces, it is possible to move from a “ revolutionary movement or a progressive movement to an advanced movement”.

The Head of State told the participants of the meeting that “with the Plan of the Seven Years, we have debated with the People, to amalgamate a comprehensive plan based on the Plan for the Homeland, written by Commander Chávez” and which in turn has served to consider “great changes in Venezuela at this stage”.

“We are dreaming of 30 years of work, with a plan that we have called the Plan of the 7 Transformations”, to pave the way for a new era of transition to socialism, he stressed.

He also pointed out that National Consultation days are taking place in the country, which include public debate, “26,000 assemblies have been held, with a significant average of neighborhood participation to debate with the people, to listen to their criticism, their proposals, their dreams.”
