Head of State: Work is under way to create alternative social networks

This Friday, November 29, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, argued that social networks are a personalized communication power, that they steal any type of personal information, and use this for global campaigns.

He also announced that work is being done to create alternative social networks, “because they are going to be born, it is one of the great battles we are fighting”.

He asserted that social networks are aligned to destroy Venezuela. “To colonize our country, to harm the minds of youth, girls and boys,” he said.

“I have spoken about it with the President of great powers, during the visits I have made to the new superpowers. I spoke about it with more than 30 Presidents at the BRICS Summit,” he said at La Casona Cultural, where he led the closing of the International Conference in Solidarity with Palestine. “From Venezuela to Palestine: We Will Live and We Will Conquer”.

The head of state assured that with the information they handle, the imperialist elites of the United States and the elite of Tel Aviv act to plan the communication war, the war for the human mind, or cognitive.

“What they want is to destroy the spirit, values and culture of the Peoples. Replace identity with the anti-values of pornography, violence, individualism and normalize fascism and massacre,” he stressed.
