Head of the Government of Caracas kicked off the Great Cultural Takeover of the capital

The head of Government of the Capital District (GDC), Nahum Fernández, kicked off the Great Cultural Takeover of Caracas, to celebrate “Christmas with joy”.

During his speech, he specified that more than a thousand troupes from all over the country have “taken to the streets to celebrate Christmas with joy”.

Fernández explained that this Sunday's programming began with religious events calling for peace for the children of Libya and Palestine, while assuring that currently the world's extreme right “uses the excuse of freedom to do their thing, violate the law and end life. Today, December 1st, we wanted to give an answer to the Venezuelan extreme right and to those who support it abroad; we are not going to allow them to take Christmas away from us.”
