Health Institute in Maracaibo deploys drug delivery days

The Maracaibo Autonomous Health Service (SAMAS) in the state of Zulia, has treated more than 14,000 people with the delivery of medicines at no cost to the beneficiaries, for a total of 26,000 drugs in the last four months of 2025.

The balance sheet was offered by Dr. Gaudy Colina, director of SAMAS, according to a press review of the institution, who specified that among the services is the delivery of medicines at its headquarters, located in the local mayor's office and through days held in different communities.

He explained that in addition to these actions, the local government provides health care through the network of outpatient clinics, which are at the service of the entire population.
