Héctor Rodríguez: The truth of Venezuela is insurgent

The Venezuelan opposition, together with imperialism, have repeated lies against the country so many times trying to transform history and “change the truth” that they believe that with falsehoods they can cower or divide the Venezuelan people, said the Minister of Education, Héctor Rodríguez.

Rodríguez pointed out that “they believed that with their blockade and the mockery of the last line (...) they were going to disassemble what we are as a nation, as a people”, men and women who have fought against everything despite attacks, threats and other conjunctural situations in the world, in a battle for truth, in the face of false narratives and malicious algorithms that try to distort it.

In this regard, as reported by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Rodríguez assured that at every stage that Venezuela has experienced, it always emerges in history because there is a people “supportive, Bolivarian, loving, hardworking and that grows in difficulties”.

From the Simon Bolivar Study Center (CESB) in Caracas, during the I II Conference on Insurgent History and Decolonization of Memory, he exalted that what the people want “is for things to be seen as they were; that truth alone is only insurgent, without covering up absolutely anything that really happened, and that is the difference between ethical morality”.
