Héctor Rodríguez: We must facilitate the incorporation into classrooms of children returning to the country

The Minister of Popular Power for Education, Héctor Rodríguez, instructed this Monday to facilitate the incorporation into the education system of all children and young people who are returning to the country after having migrated.

“These boys who returned must be incorporated, because many of those young people left and didn't study there, that's a topic that we have to work on,” he said from the Mariano Picón Salas Educational Unit, in Petare.

Likewise, according to a press release from the educational portfolio, Rodríguez indicated that for this purpose, a process must begin to reduce “unnecessary bureaucratic obstacles”, as well as the evaluation and equalization of these Venezuelan children and young people who have returned to their homeland, so that they can start classes and continue with the academic training process.

“They are coming back and we need to take care of them. We must also raise the quality of education, so that they feel happy to be in class (...) We must develop the interests of the child and promote the country's development,” he said.
