Hernández Lárez: URRAS in actions in the Orinoco have discovered six illegal shipyard camps

The Rapid Reaction Units (URRA) are currently deployed in Las Bocas del Orinoco, as part of territorial defense operations and the fight against illegal activities in strategic areas of the country, obtaining positive results with the discovery of six illegal shipyard camps.

This was reported this Monday, August 25, by the commander of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFAN), G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, during his speech in the 89th edition of the program “With Maduro+”, conducted by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, when addressing the Third T: Public Security and Defense.

He explained that the URRA emerged as a result of the first operational deployments carried out in the national territory, in conjunction with the Bolivarian Military Shield Exercise.

In this context, he explained that the above-mentioned Units constitute a temporary tactical group, made up of forces and means that are organized, specifically, to fulfill a specific mission, which are activated according to a need.
