The head of the Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB), Domingo Hernández Lárez, reported that for this 2025 Bolivarian Shield there are 150,000 men deployed for 290 strategic exercises in each territory.

He stressed that this exercise consists of verifying the levels of operational readiness in armed and non-armed struggle.

“In our mission, we prepare in two ways: operational readiness preparation for the FANB, and comprehensive preparation refers to the people as well,” Hernández Lárez explained.

He indicated that 250 heavy military vehicles are available for the activity, and the aerospace system of the Integral Aerospace Defense Command (CODAI) is deployed.

He assured that the FANB is alert to any attack to defend the entire town and the national territory. “All this to make the homeland impregnable,” he emphasized.
