The Venezuelan Cristian Cásceres Jr. will continue to defend the shirt a for Toulouse de France for at least two more seasons.

“Toulouse is pleased to extend the contract of one of its key players, despite the numerous offers it received,” the club said in a statement.

Casseres Jr. said he was happy and proud to renew his contract with Toulouse, thanking him for what the club did for his family and for him.

“I am comfortable and at ease here, both with the team and in the city. I thank the fans for their daily support. His messages and his affection were fundamental to my decision,” said the Venezuelan, the club reviews on its official website.

Viktor Bezhani, sports director of Toulouse, said that Cásceres Jr. embodies the qualities they value in the club. “He has an unwavering commitment and a warrior mentality. He also leads by example and a willingness to sacrifice for the team,” he added.

He asserted that it was not easy to convince him because “several European clubs showed great interest in signing him”.
