85% of Venezuelans would agree to prosecute those who have called for a military invasion against Venezuela for treason, a recent survey by the polling company Hinterlaces revealed.
The study was conducted during the month of November, with 1,200 interviews conducted in strata A, B and C (18% of respondents) and segments D and E (82% of the sample).
In September, extremists inside and outside the country promoted a fund-raising campaign through a platform called “Almost Venezuela”, promoted by the American mercenary Erik Prince, together with the extremist María Corina Machado and Iván Simonovis in order to assassinate President Nicolás Maduro.
This week, the National Assembly (AN) unanimously approved in its first discussion the Simon Bolivar Liberator Organic Law, which establishes imprisonment and perpetual disqualification for those who request unilateral sanctions against Venezuela, seeking to guarantee peace and stability.
In addition, this Friday, the Public Ministry announced the beginning of an investigation against Machado, in virtue of his pronouncements in favor of bill HR825, misnamed “Bolivar Law”, which seeks to revive the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States (USA), by prohibiting trade and sanctioning companies that do business with Venezuela.
