Last Wednesday, the member of the National Electoral Council (CNE) of Honduras, Marlon Ochoa, presented to the Public Ministry (MP) a USB with 24 audios that, he said, reveal a plan to discredit the electoral process of 2025 and generate a crisis of post-electoral legitimacy.

“We have delivered a USB that contains 24 audios, the audios confirm the voice of a proprietary counselor and hear the voice of a bench leader from one of the two traditional parties and also identify the voices of active members of the Honduran Armed Forces,” said Councilor Ochoa.

The complaint points to a conspiracy involving a councillor who owns the CNE and a bench leader of a traditional party, who would discuss strategies to interrupt the general elections scheduled to be held on November 30
