Honor of Merit! CICPC officials are decorated after operation against Wilexis

The Deputy Minister of the Integral Police System, M/G Elio Estrada Paredes, awarded the directors of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC) with the Honor of Merit Medal of the Bolivarian National Guard in its only class, for the outstanding work carried out by the officials of this institution in the operation where “Wilexis”, one of the most wanted criminals in Venezuela, was killed.

“Today we give just and deserved recognition to the courageous, patriotic and heroic revolutionaries of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps,” said Major General Estrada Paredes.

He also highlighted the importance of the perfect Popular, Military and Police Fusion to carry out these operations that seek to guarantee the peace and security of the country.

“This resounding victory is due to the sacrifices that the men and women of the Scientific Police make every day in honoring the sacred oath to defend the Fatherland.”

During Promotion No. 61 of the Bolivarian National Guard Command, the Commissioners General Douglas Rico, Jhonny Salazar and Jesús Ramírez, Director General, Deputy Director and Director of Criminal Investigations of the Cicpc, were awarded, respectively; as well as Chief Commissioners Javier Muñoz and Raúl Contreras, members of the legal intervention.

Likewise, Estrada Paredes congratulated the new 46 commands that are integrated to maintain the country's internal order, as part of the activation of the Bolivarian Shield Exercises 2025.
