Hospital Central de Maracay guarantees medical care and reports full operability in its critical areas

The Ministry of Popular Power for Health (MPPS) requested a temporary pause from donors because the Blood Bank of the Central Hospital of Maracay reached its maximum storage capacity after the national contingency.

The official Telegram platform of the MPPS explained that preventive restriction is strictly necessary to optimize the use of current reserves and absolutely avoid the expiration of blood components already processed.

The hospital authorities explained that citizens and volunteers who wish to collaborate in the future can go directly to the administrative area of the institution in order to formally register their contact details.

Those responsible for the service indicated that this preventive census will make it possible to summon the civilian population in a planned manner, facilitating a timely and organized collection only when the hospital requires a specific blood type.
