Humberto Orsini's Sainetes join the Route of Hope

The Route of Hope will develop, from August 4 to 15, a series of dramatized readings in four transitory camps in Caracas, in homage to the centenary of the birth of the Venezuelan playwright Humberto Orsini.
The program will begin this Tuesday, August 4, at the Transitional Camp of the Hotel Ávila, in San Bernardino, and will continue on Thursday, August 6, at the Vicente Landaeta Educational Unit.
Also, on Sunday 9th, it will arrive at the Colonel Carlos Delgado Chalbaud National School, by car, and will close on Saturday 15th at the Guayana Esequiba Cultural Complex, in San Bernardino.
All performances will be at 3:00 in the afternoon. The activity is organized by Misión Cultura and executed by the National Theater Company (CNT), with the presentation of the sainetes “The bad step” and “Hotter than iron is Chinese”, played by members of the company's cast.
The initiative seeks to bring theater closer to families staying in temporary camps and to keep the legacy of Orsini alive, recognized for his career as a playwright, director, teacher and journalist.
The cycle is part of the cultural program of the Route of Hope, created to provide spaces for recreation, artistic expression and support to families affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.
