IARTES invites to the discussion “Miradas a Nuestro Essequibo” at the Casona Eleazar López Contreras

The Institute for the Arts of Image and Space (IARTES) extended the invitation to the special discussion on the traveling exhibition “Miradas a Nuestro Essequibo”, which will be held next Thursday, June 26, at the Casona Cultura Eleazar López Contreras.

According to information from the Ministry for Culture, this event seeks to bring together the unique and personal perspectives of the artists and cultural managers participating in the exhibition, around the struggle for the defense of the Essequibo.

This enriching meeting will be attended by prominent speakers who will share their reflections: Nelson Bastardo, director of the Casona Cultura Eleazar López Contreras; Joel Nacache, visual artist and teacher at Unearte; Yrina Gutiérrez, visual artist and teacher at Unearte and Zacarías García, general director of IARTES. In addition, this important dialogue will be moderated by Evelio Salcedo.

Through this traveling exhibition, IARTES reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the legitimate defense of this territory, promoting national identity and strengthening love for Venezuela.
