In February, CANTV restored telecommunications services to more than 19,500 subscribers.

During the month of February, CANTV's technical staff carried out an important deployment to ensure the continuity and quality of fixed telephone and Internet services to more than 19,500 residential and business users.

According to a CANTV press release, more than 8,900 subscribers benefited in Caracas, after the resolution of breakdowns caused by deterioration, theft, vandalism, third-party damage and adverse weather conditions.

In the state of Miranda, around 9,200 subscribers were served in the different municipalities of the entity, while in La Guaira the number of users who recovered connectivity services was close to 1,300.

The tasks carried out by the technical staff included corrective and preventive maintenance of networks and transmission equipment, replacement of cables and connectors, reconstruction of splices and revision of telephone lines.
