At the headquarters of the embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the Republic of Indonesia, briefings were held on January 22 and 26 between Ambassador Enrique Acuña and representatives of solidarity movements, as well as journalists from digital news platforms.
At these meetings, the international campaign “Bring Them Back” was presented, aimed at explaining the extent of the violation of international law incurred by the United States (USA) with the military aggression against Venezuela on January 3, when it kidnapped President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, the first lady and deputy Cilia Flores.
The meetings were attended by representatives of the Indonesian Farmers Union (SPI), the KASBI Confederation (Congress of the Indonesian Trade Union Alliance), the National Student League for Democracy (LMND), SINDIKASI (Union of Media and Creative Industries Workers for Democracy) and the Indonesian Trade Union Confederation (KPBI), along with journalists from the digital media kumparan.com, detik.com, liputan6.com and metrotvnews.com.
The Embassy of Venezuela thanked the movements and communicators present for their willingness, and reiterated their willingness to continue promoting spaces for cooperation and dialogue that strengthen solidarity between peoples.
