During an event that was attended by the candidate for the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar (GPPSB), for the re-election of the governor of the state of Monagas, Ernesto Luna, and the head of the Center for the Development of Educational Quality, Mary Salazar, the headquarters of the Center for Comprehensive Care for People with Autism “Juana Ramírez La Avanzadora” (CAIPA) was handed over as a new one.

Together, they toured these special education spaces, noting the construction of the recreational park, the replacement of roofs, waterproofing, air conditioning, refurbishment of administrative offices, four psychopedagogical classrooms, four care rooms and four bathrooms, reported the website of the newspaper Úlmas Noticias.

It specifies that this approach favors more than 560 children and adolescents who are part of the Care Programs and with the more than 65 teachers who train people with autism through structured teaching, leveling the ages of development for their future full integration into society.

In addition to the civil engineering tasks that were carried out at the institution, they also donated psychopedagogical material, namely: bobath balls, smelling fruit balls, plastic balls, half-moon pantry tables; hexagonal and triangular, acrylic boards, desks, secretarial chairs and memory and fishing games, among others.

Regarding the work, candidate Luna said that “on this day I thank God for allowing me to be His instrument to perform this type of work that brings out smiles, innocence and the essence of these boys”.

He recognized the hard work of classroom teachers to embrace, care for and train these children.

The young Alexander Urbaneja, who is part of this institution, thanked the governor for this enormous show of love.
