The communal judges of the peace of the Magallanes I Circuit, Sucre parish of Caracas, gave the first workshop of the Ordinance on Citizen Coexistence, Civism and Justice of Community Peace, to spokeswomen and popular spokespersons of the community councils in the sector.

In the spaces of the Sucre National Educational Unit of axis 9, chief judge Alonso Vera, said that “this team made up of Fanny Cabarcas, chief judge, Jairo Hernández, substitute judge and Gregoria Churasmo, substitute judge, we are dedicated to disseminating the importance of this ordinance. It's not that the others aren't important, but that this is the macro ordinance that governs all other local laws.”

He added that “the Ordinance on Citizen Coexistence establishes sanctions for serious crimes and misdemeanors. In addition, it is linked to the houses of justice, today they are called the houses of judges and justices of the peace or houses of peace. Therefore, the importance of this ordinance articulated with the Organic Law of Justice of Community Peace”.

Judge Vera indicated that they are going to make a deployment “in each territory that makes up the Magallanes I Community Circuit; to bring us closer to popular power. And then come to a great general conversation about all the ordinances, because other local laws governing the City Council of Caracas are emerging from the Ordinance on Citizen Coexistence, and making them known.”

“We believe that every justice of the peace must be in line with the citizens, with the popular spokespersons of the communal councils here in Los Magallanes de Catia, to articulate and prepare us in the content of laws, ordinances and regulations. Remember that a Constitutional Reform is coming, and it will incorporate the communes, which are going to create a Communal Government in the Sucre parish,” he stressed.

Judge Alonso Vera specified that the schedule will include schools, where they will address everything related to the rights and duties of children and adolescents. “The competencies that children who are part of the best interest have. And attack a series of behaviors that come with bullying, an issue that we also have to bring to students, to teachers so that they are in harmony, to parents and representatives,” he stressed.
