This Saturday, May 3rd, in perfect popular-military-police union, the People commemorated the 5th anniversary of Operation Black First, which it defeated and the terrorist attempt orchestrated and financed by the United States and the Venezuelan right, known as Operation Gideon.

The commemorative activity that took place in the state of La Guaira was accompanied by the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, the governor of the entity, José Alejandro Terán and several State security officials.

“They thought it was very easy, today they still believe that it is very easy, but the blows we have given them have been so accurate that now they don't dare (...), but know that if they set foot we will give them a severe defeat every time they try,” said Cabello, stressing that the plans of imperialism and its lackeys will always be crushed by the conscious people of Venezuela who do not give up.

For this reason, he reaffirmed his call for the unity of the police, the military, the People and the Militia, stressing that the path of freedom and sovereignty must remain firm.

“This is Bolívar's path, the path of true independence. We must stand together as one great block to face any enemy and under any circumstances. We will win,” he said.

During the day, the Minister of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace awarded the Order José María España The Emancipator in his first class to the security officers who participated in the events of May 3, 2020 in the defeat of Operation Gideon in its attempted mercenary invasion, in recognition of the courage and commitment demonstrated during the Operation Black First.
