The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH) denied that the high temperatures in Venezuela at the present time and those that are going to occur in the coming days, have to do with a Heat Dome.

Through a publication on Social Network X, INAMEH pointed out that phenomenon is not happening in our country.

It also highlights that this situation is specifically due to the record of high global temperatures, an El Niño phenomenon.

In addition, the absence of cloud cover and precipitation (dry period at the present time), as well as the Spring Equinox for March 19 and the approach of solar declination, which affects from south to north from March 21 to May 2, a situation that causes temperatures to rise and, according to INAMEH, would be above historical records.
