INAMEH forecasts variable rainfall per step of Tropical Wave number 37

The authorities of the National Institute of Metrology and Hydrology (INAMEH) estimate cloudy areas that generate variable rainfall and occasional electric shocks as a result of the passage of Tropical Wave number 37.

The states that will be affected are Guayana Esequiba, Bolivar, Amazonas, Delta Amacuro, Sucre, Monagas, Anzoátegui, Nueva Esparta, Greater Caracas Mountains, east of Falcón, Apure, Barinas, Portuguesa, Cojedes, south of Guárico, Táchira, Mérida and Zulia; the rest of the country will remain partly cloudy.

In the afternoon and evening, cloud development accompanied by rain or showers, some with electrical activity, is expected in the Insular Region, the Northeast, Bolivar, Amazonas, the Western Plains, Cojedes, the Andes and Zulia; on the other hand, less intense rainfall in the North Coastal Center, Yaracuy and Lara.

In the states of Miranda, Capital District - and La Guaira, they estimate partial cloud cover with drizzle in mountain areas; after noon, scattered rainfall is expected, especially in the late afternoon.

The wind will be from the southeastern component, with speeds between 10 and 15 km/h. Temperatures will range from a minimum of 17°C to a maximum that could reach 34°C in La Guaira
