Officials from the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH) installed an automatic satellite pluviometric station in the Henri Pittier National Park in the state of Aragua.
The station is located 1,630 meters above sea level in the state of Aragueña, whose purpose is to monitor the rainfall recorded in the El Castaño basin.
This installation reaches a total of 38 active rainfall measurement devices in the state, which strengthen the country's early warnings for the rainy season.
In addition, INAMEH performs corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure the transmission of hydrometeorological data to technological servers during this rainy season 2024, the Ministry of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace reported in the press.
