INATUR will open a diploma course for Cultural Tourism Management

In the framework of the 20th International Book Fair 2024 (FILVEN), the representative of the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism, Javier Guerra, announced that the National Institute of Tourism (INATUR) will soon open a Diploma for Cultural Tourism Management.

In this regard, he stressed that gastronomy, the history of each place and culture can be a tourist product. “Tourism can be a model of sustainable development like an oil that doesn't run out,” he said, noting that every Venezuelan can be a potential tourism promoter.

Also, during the conference “Cultural Tourism: A Thousand Routes and One Destination”, he explained the tourist axes and their modalities of the country, such as the jungle, the plains, the mountains, the city, and the beach.

He highlighted the different types of heritage that have tourist features, such as the historical heritage of Campo de Carabobo and the monument to the meeting between Bolívar and Morillo. So are natural heritages such as Los Medanos, El Relámpago del Catatumbo and Angel Falls.

He pointed out that to participate in the Diploma for Cultural Tourism Management, information can be searched through INATUR on the Instagram account @Inaturvzla.

In addition, he recalled that the next Venezuelan International Tourism Fair (FITVEN) will be held from November 27 to December 1 in the city of San Cristóbal, Táchira state.
