This Friday, 12 days after the national strike in Ecuador, the indigenous movement confirmed the continuity of the mobilization as an expression of legitimate popular resistance, once again denounced the systematic repression ordered by the government against the protests called in rejection of the policies of President Daniel Noboa, who claim that the State is guilty of the murder of the Kichwa community member Efraín Fuerez
At a meeting held in Quito, CONAIE and its regional CONFENIAE, ECUARUNARI and CONAICE confirmed the continuity of the national strike as a legitimate expression of resistance against an authoritarian government, subordinated to the International Monetary Fund and supported by neoliberal measures that make life more expensive for the population.
