Infante: Venezuela stands in solidarity with Iran in its right to defense against aggression

This Thursday, June 19, the vice-president of the Organization of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Pedro Infante, reaffirmed that today more than ever the Venezuelan people express their solidarity with Iran's legitimate right to defense against attacks by the Zionist State of Israel.

“Today we mobilize with deep conscience, in solidarity and in a profoundly internationalist character for the right of Peoples to defend themselves, today we defend the right to defense that the People of Iran have against criminal aggressions that violate the entire international legal order,” he said during the Long March against war and for peace that took place this Thursday in Caracas.

He also confirmed that from Venezuela the People are raising their voices to stop the war. “From Bolivar's libertarian Caracas, we call on the world's powerful elites to stop the war, we don't want war, Iran, Venezuela and Palestine are peoples of peace,” he said.

He asserted that US imperialism and the Zionist regime of Israel are those who promote the fascist and warrior project with which they intend to massacre the peoples of the Middle East. At the same time, he recognized the character of dignity and sovereignty that Iran and Palestine have had in the face of the warrior and fascist character of Israel.

“Israel is a base of operations of North American imperialism (...) and in those peoples in that land there are the main oil energy reserves in the world and there is the North American interest of North American imperialism in making that people kneel,” he said.

In addition, he specified that the United States is promoting war to cover up the disaster they have in his country because of activating the persecution against migrants. In turn, he described the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, as the “Hitler of this century”, while also recalling the massacre they have carried out against the Palestinian people.

“They are violence, they are war and they are evil; that is why we free peoples of the world today have the responsibility to build a new world order (...) it seems that these (Israel) are the representatives of Satan on earth and we must defeat him, give him a stop and that peace and respect for the dignity of our peoples prevail,” he said.
