INFOCENTRO brings educational robotics to students in Mérida

Third-year students from the Félix Román Duque Educational Center, located in the Tovar municipality, Mérida state, participated in a talk on educational robotics, organized by the INFOCENTRO Foundation.
The facilitators presented the fundamentals of robotics, its application in daily life and its importance in the development of 21st century skills, such as programming, logical thinking and problem solving.
During the activity, students interacted with robotics kits and learned about successful experiences in the field, which allowed them to reflect on the impact of technology on social transformation, details a press release from the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology.
This initiative is part of the Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán Great Science, Technology and Innovation Mission, which aims to promote free knowledge and access to technological tools, to train new generations in scientific and technological areas.
