The rector of the National University of Sciences Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán and Minister of Science and Technology, Gabriel a Jiménez, highlighted this Friday the profoundly national and inclusive nature of this university, which has 1805 students, of whom 477 represent the country's 25 states, including Guiana Esequiba.
During the ceremony for the first anniversary of the academic institution, Jiménez thanked the fundamental role of the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research (IVIC), whose women and scientists acted as hosts, welcoming students to their research centers.
At the international level, the minister highlighted the success of the presidential instructions, which have led to the signing of six cooperation agreements with important universities ranked among the 100 most outstanding in the world.
These agreements link the Venezuelan university to a network of more than 700,000 international scientists, consolidating its global reach.
