The International Democratic Federation of Women (FDIM) demanded the release of the two-year-old Venezuelan girl Maykelis Espinoza, who was taken from her mother's arms before being deported by the United States (US) government .

“Once again, the fascists in the administration of President (Donald) Trump are committing another serious violation of the human rights and dignity of peoples, this time they have kidnapped and transferred in an unknown direction the girl Maykelis Espinoza (...) daughter of a Venezuelan citizen who was kidnapped by the same government and transferred to the mega-prison in El Salvador,” the organization reported in a statement.

The text states that the FDIM is aimed at “defending the rights of women and girls, and respect for human rights”, so they strongly condemned the kidnapping of Maykelis. “We demand that the Trump administration be returned to their mother immediately, and that the Venezuelan kidnapped be released in El Salvador,” he adds.

“This insane escalation of American fascism will be defeated sooner rather than later, and they must be held accountable above all for the damages and crimes committed against girls and boys all over the planet (...) We demand the return to their homeland of all the kidnapped Venezuelans, safe and sound!” , said the Federation.
