INTT announces cargo transportation restriction during Carnival

Drivers and companies must take forecasts

In a statement, the National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT) announced this Friday the traffic
restriction for cargo vehicles from Sunday, February 15, from 1:00 in the morning until next Wednesday, the 18th of those present at 1:00 in the morning, on the occasion of the carnival season 2026.


On its Instagram account, the entity reported that vehicles carrying products or services are exempt from this measure: perishable and non-perishable food, and their respective raw materials; road assistance, emergencies, police or military, telecommunications equipment for the defense of the Nation.

In addition, cargo transports of drinking water, short-term medicine, oxygen, carbon dioxide (dry ice), gas, fuel destined for service stations, as well as vehicles for the collection of solid waste of household origin.
