In the context of a Comprehensive Social Day organized by the Ministry of Popular Power for Youth, the National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT) certified more than 40 young people from the Socialist Youth Motorized Brigade in Defensive Management.

The event was held in the Socialist Comandante Hugo Chávez Commune, consolidating inter-institutional cooperation to strengthen road safety in the sector, the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP) reported on its Telegram account.

During the event, the president of the INTT, Luis Ignacio Granko Arteaga, highlighted the importance of road responsibility and urged young people to be examples of leadership and respect for the people on each of their routes.

This training initiative was created under the premise of the Ministry of Popular Power for Youth, an entity that intends to extend this training program to all 24 states of the country. The primary objective is the mass promotion of road safety and order in the motorized youth guild of the entire national territory.

The participants expressed their gratitude for the training received and emphasized that the course reinforced their knowledge to make the transition from basic driving to professional and responsible driving.

Citizen Jonathan Araujo said that this course “taught us about Defensive Driving, compliance with traffic regulations and the proper use of helmets.”

For his part, the young Kelinyer Córdova sent a message to drivers, emphasizing respect for road actors, compliance with regulations and awareness behind the wheel.

Yorgelis García said that, “before this training, we thought we knew how to drive, but today we are conscious drivers thanks to the tools provided by the INTT.”

The day also included a Special Vehicle Procedures Operation for the benefit of the 23 de Enero parish, where the issuance of driver's licenses, identification plates and vehicle registrations was facilitated.

With these actions, the Bolivarian Government continues to promote education as a fundamental pillar for accident prevention and the integral well-being of citizens.
