The president of the National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT), Luis Granko, verified the effectiveness of the prevention and road safety activities contemplated as part of the Safe Holy Week 2025 Device.

Through the INTT account on the Instagram social network, he points out that from kilometer 0 of the Caracas - La Guaira Highway, Granko disseminated recommendations aimed at drivers, in their different modalities, to promote a responsible road culture.

He urged drivers to drive responsibly, avoid the consumption of alcoholic beverages and respect established speed limits.

Later, he took a tour to the land terminal of La Guaira-Naiguatá-Caruao, where, accompanied by other institutions of the Preventive Front of the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace (Mpprijp), as well as the Public Ministry, they monitored the mobility of their own and seasonal workers who visit the central coast.

With regard to this deployment, the INTT, the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) and the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) are implementing a Regularization and Speed Control Device on Highways (RECOVAC), an initiative that contributes to the reduction of traffic accidents.

Since the beginning of the Device, the president of the INTT has supervised the deployment of workers at the Citizen Service Points, installed on the Regional Highway of the Center (ARC).

The objective is to ensure road safety on this important road artery. This work is carried out in conjunction with the Public Safety Agencies , who urge drivers to carry their vehicle documentation up to date and to drive in compliance with current traffic regulations.
