As part of the national awareness campaign “Give Sandoval a stop, wear a suitable helmet!” , the National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT) was present at Cerro del Morro, in Petare, Sucre municipality in the state of Miranda, where it exchanged these devices.

During these days, the INTT establishes dynamics with motorized vehicles to grant them a certified helmet that guarantees them greater safety, after the deactivation of the “Sandoval”, as it is a device with a protection range of less than 10%.

Martín Cardozo, expressed his gratitude to the institution for carrying out this activity in the heart of the populous Mirandina parish and for worrying about the welfare of the town, according to the INTT press.

For his part, Erikson González, who exchanged a Sandoval-type helmet for his son over 10 years old for a suitable one, praised the initiative being carried out by the INTT by contributing significantly to the protection of his son by taking him on a motorcycle to school and home.

Meanwhile, Eduardo Viloria, a motorcycle taxi driver who benefited together with his son wearing a helmet, each said that the road safety body is doing a very successful and beautiful job, protecting the protection of drivers and their families.

This activity promotes road awareness among citizens. Through talks, exercises and dynamics, the INTT consolidates the importance of safeguarding the lives of all.
