The National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT) took the swearing in of three new School Patrols in the states of Apure, Miranda and Falcón.
This program seeks to enable students to become multipliers of prevention values and respect for traffic regulations on and off campus, INTT press reports.
In the Silva municipality of Falcón state, INTT officials took the oath of office of the School Patrol of the Armando Schward Anglade School, located in the town of Tucacas.
In addition, in Miranda state, the school patrol of the Cecilio Acosta School was sworn in.
Students are trained to collaborate in controlling the entry and exit of their classmates, promoting the correct use of pedestrian crossings and respect for traffic signs.
With these actions, the INTT strengthens road education strategies as a fundamental pillar for the reduction of road incidents and the training of citizens aware of their duties in public space.
