The Islamic Republic of Iran celebrated the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution with a massive march in Tehran where citizens waved Iranian flags and banners in defense of the principles of the Revolution.

During the event, the president of that country, Masoud Pezeshkian, gave a speech in which he reaffirmed the determination of the Iranian Government and people in the face of external pressures, in addition to assuring that Iran “will never bow its head to foreigners. We are not looking for war, but the enemy has been trying to generate conflicts since day one.” He also dismissed the claims that the country is weakened, calling them “mere illusions of our enemies”.

The president also referred to the accusations of the United States Government, related to the role of Iran in the region. In that regard, he said that it is the Zionist entity of Israel, with the support of Western powers, that destabilizes and kills people in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria. He also noted that recent attacks against Palestinian leaders in Iranian territory seek to undermine the country's unity.
