This Thursday, Kermán receives supporters of the legendary anti-terrorist commander Qasem Soleimani on the fifth anniversary of his assassination during an attack by the United States (USA).

Every year Iranians walk to the place where the remains of the martyr Soleimani rest to pay homage to him. Along the way, dozens of mawkibs (voluntarily prepared stations) were installed to serve people.

Hispantv has reported that commemorations and special events are simultaneously being held to remember General Soleimani in several other cities, including the capital, Tehran.

The U.S. military, by direct order of former President Donald Trump, assassinated General Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guardians Corps (IRGC), and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, also commander of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (Al-Hashad Al-Sabi, in Arabic), in a drone attack outside Baghdad International Airport on January 3, 2020.
