Iran dismantles sabotage network with foreign links

The Iranian Intelligence Ministry announced the dismantling of a network consisting of 32 people involved in riots and acts of sabotage in Tehran and in several provinces of the country. According to the official statement, 12 of the main members of the network were arrested, while another 13 were summoned for questioning.
The authorities, according to the Venezuelan Television Review (VTV), specified that the group's operational nucleus was based in the city of Mashhad and that its members carried out destructive actions, including the burning of religious sites.
He also indicated that one of the detainees had made several trips to the occupied territories, which, in the opinion of the authorities, points to contacts with external actors linked to the disturbances.
In a previous statement, the attorney general of Khorasan Razavi province, Hasan Hemmati Far, reported the arrest of more than ten people involved in the attacks and murders of the victims of Tabarsi Street, in Mashhad.
In addition, he noted the arrest of 22 alleged ringleaders of the riots, 50 individuals accused of setting fire to public and private spaces, and 38 people involved in acts of violence against citizens.
